I heartily agree with that. What's your reasoning, out of curiosity?

[deck]Mono Black Aggro v2[/deck]

I like this a lot more. Life gain is really good against against the aggro decks, and you can leverage it into more card draw. After realising that Yarpus is the smartest man alive, it occurred to me that Erobos would be perfect here ~ at worst he is card draw, but if the game ever stalls out, he's an unkillable 5/7. Either they're killing you guys (they're a control deck) and
you just draw cards; or they're anything else and you turn him on.
I really want to jam white in this just for Cartel Aristocrat. I think you could retain 2x Mutavault if you threw in 4x Godless Shrine and 4x Temple of Silence and 2x Plains.

Not worth it? Probably not :(

Was that directed at me?

@wraspy - Cartel really took huge hits with the loss of all the Innistrad block cards that synergized with it. Soldier of the Pantheon plays the role at present in BW Mid/Control because he does nearly as well without the need for feeders. Cartel is going to need some renewables beyond Necromancer retreads before it's really useful again.

Just making sure.

While any weapon better than no weapon, any other weapon is still better than a knife. Carrying one around and expecting it to be useful in a self defense situation is just going to get you killed.

If you want something besides a gun for defense, get pepper spray or a baton. Neither is as effective as a gun, but both are leagues above a knife or stun gun.

That photo is beautiful. I love the slighty-off-symmetrical line that runs from wolf hat seam straight through her perfect teeth. I might draw her; that picture is what every artist craves for a subject.

Too weird?

Only if you don't draw her nude.

That'd be fucked up.

Not weird coming from an actual artist.

Or when Redthirst says it.

But weird in almost any other circumstance.

Especially when Suga says it.

Don't mistake Suga's sexual overtones as "weird." It's just how rapists say hello.

Just read through the Magma Jet article. Fungible is now one of my favorite words, especially since it looks like it should be a made up word. :)
It's a lawyer word.

Z, do you practice contract law?
I work as an intellectual property consultant, so yeah, I've written / read a lot of contracts.

Soooooooo Hearthstone. . .Beta ate 4 hours of my life yesterday after going 2-0 drop at Standard tourney to pick up the wife on time. Between Hex, Hearthstone and MTG/O and Netrunner, life is good for a card flopper....

THANK YOU!! Exactly! The leading lines in the shot are just remarkable, leading you into her smile, which is reflected in her eyes.

Given your appreciation, here's my "painting" of Pip from the photo; note that I cropped such that the golden ratio results in her eyes becoming more of a focus:

Couldn't find my charcoal-sharpening knife, so this sketch turned out to be quick & rough (another redthirst-approved phrase)

Thanks for the fun study. I'm just an amateur, so none of the light or happy came through but she was a joy to sketch. :D

The tint of red that you added to her eyes looks so sexy. Much less creepy than the ones on darthstabber's avvy.

The Maze's End player's argument was well reasoned, but Blunk's response proved irrefutable.

Am I the only one that's just shredding maze's end decks? It's not that hard, it takes forever for them to win, just keep applying pressure and it folds.

If only it was that easy to beat turbofog in pauper. My faerie aggro deck can do it, but only because I have the combination of more board presence than MUC while still having counters for fogs. It's making me want to take apart RDW for Burn, especially because that f'n deck is everywhere, and jace's erasure is the most annoying wincon in the world.
