I think I talked about Rodrigo Duterte on here before, the (now) president of the Phillipines? Since taking office a month ago, the police have killed nearly 2000 petty criminals related to the drug trade. This includes the use of contract killers. So far only low-level dealers (aka: the poorest of the poor) are being targeted. He's promised to kill 100 000 in his first six months, so I guess we'll see if he can ramp that number up!
