They tried to make me got to rehab. I said, "No, no, no!""I took the medicine,
but the pills won't work.
The pills they dont do anthing,
but rearrange all the littlest things.
I know a little bit,
but that bit won't work.
The bit I know is irrelevant
So I guess this song is irrelevant too."
Fucking genius.

Also, Kat's bored tonight, which means she's taking requests for sigpics. So PM with what you want and she'll try her best to make it look awesome. I can't guarantee when it will be ready (red's took 2 days), but I can guarantee it will be on par with my sigpic.

You've been listening to it all week as well?"I took the medicine,
but the pills won't work.
The pills they dont do anthing,
but rearrange all the littlest things.
I know a little bit,
but that bit won't work.
The bit I know is irrelevant
So I guess this song is irrelevant too."
Fucking genius.
I still stop and think about the "the priest, the tramp and I" part in "The Three of Us." I'll pause it, skip back a few seconds, and replay it, just to try to get a bit more meaning out of the lyrics. I think the main message is that people change when they are placed in different situations, and that, with a strong faith, they change for the better, and without it, they may become
lost.
Another great lyric:
I told a lie that multiplied.
By the time I realized it,
I'd given up everything I'd ever loved,
'cause the thing that you lack when you're looking back
is the pressure; the feel that you have to act.
Everything is clearer when you're looking at the past.

Suga, that may take awhile. I know how much you like instant gratification, so be patient

Another golden one
And I see
The things that I pretend that I don't see.
And hold them in my head love,
If only for memories.
See his eye as he stops one
of three
Mesmerises one of the wedding guests
Stay here and listen to the nightmares of the sea.
And the music plays on, as the bride passes by
Caught by his spell and the mariner tells his tale.
Driven south to the land of the snow and ice
To a place where nobody's been
Through the snow fog flies on the albatross
Hailed in god's name, hoping good luck it brings.
And the ship sails on, back to the north
Through the fog and ice and the albatross follows on.
The mariner kills the bird of good omen
His shipmates cry against what he's done
But when the fog clears, they justify him
And make themselves a part of the crime.
Sailing on and on and north across the sea
Sailing on and on and north 'til all is calm.
The albatross begins with it's vengeance
A terrible curse a thirst has begun
His shipmates blame bad luck on the mariner
About his neck, the dead bird is hung.
And the curse goes on and on at sea
And the curse goes on and on for them and me.
'Day after day, day
after day,
we stuck nor breath nor motion
As idle as a painted ship upon a painted ocean
Water, water everywhere and
all the boards did shrink
Water, water everywhere nor any drop to drink.'
There calls the mariner
There comes a ship over the line
But how can she sail with no wind in her sails and no tide.
See... onward she comes
Onward she nears out of the sun
See, she has no crew
She has no life, wait but here's two.
Death and she life in death,
They throw their dice for the crew
She wins the mariner and he belongs to her now.
Then... crew one by one
They drop down dead, two hundred men
She... she, life in death.
She lets him live, her chosen one.
'One after one by the star dogged moon,
Too quick for groan or sigh
Each turned his facce with a ghastly pang
And cursed me with his eye
Four times fifty living men
(And I heard nor sigh nor groan)
With heavy thump, a lifeless lump,
They dropped down one by one.'
The curse it lives on in their eyes
The mariner wished he'
d die
Along with the sea creatures
But they lived on, so did he.
And by the light of the moon
He prays for their beauty not doom
With heart he blesses them
God's creatures all of them too.
Then the spell starts to break
The albatross falls from his neck
Sinks down like lead into the sea
Then down in falls comes the rain.
Hear the groans of the long dead seamen
See them stir and they start to rise
Bodies lifted by good spirits
None of them speak and they're lifelesss in their eyes
And revenge is still sought, penance starts again
Cast into a trance and the nightmare carries on.
Now the curse is finally lifted
And the mariner sights his home
Spirits go fromhe long dead bodies
Form their own light and the mariner's left alone.
And then a boat came sailing towards him
It was a joy he could not believe
The pilot's boat, his son and the hermit,
Penance of life will fall onto him.
And the ship sinks like lead into the sea
And the hermit shrieves the mariner of his sins.
nThe mariner's bound to tell of his story
To tell this tale wherever he goes
To teach god's word by his own example
That we must love all things thaat God made.
And the wedding guest's a sad and wiser man
And the tale goes on and on and on.

didn't directly mention how the king became the tramp and the thief became the priest, but only used the order in which they listed them to do so. The subtlety makes the message a lot more powerful. Also, while not as deep/meaningful, I really like the chorus of "Ungrateful."

Khaos, thanks for reminding me to get that piece of metal poetry on my phone. They won't sell it as a single on iTunes, so I was left with YouTube when I wanted to hear a 10+ minute song. However, on the open seas of thepiratebay, where music is free to plunder...
Lyrically, my favorite Maiden song has to be "When the Wild Wind Blows," though.

Iron Maiden is the best band ever. Aces High is probably my favorite song. I can play every part on the guitar and I've been practicing singing it as well, though I'm by far no Bruce.Khaos, thanks for reminding me to get that piece of metal poetry on my phone. And yes, I roam the seas of Pirate Bay frequently myself.
Here's to Iron Fucking Maiden! Up the Irons!

And for those that want to hear an awesome live Aces High with Winston Churchill's speech, here ya go!

And this is from a few years ago! They just keep staying awesome!
And for fuck's sake, look at that drum kit!

If I'm going to be playing a red list in this standard I want it to be a list that takes big steamy dumps on Boros Reckoner. This makes me think that BR midrange list is sick. it DGAF whether your opponent has creatures, and if those creatures are problematic it removes them. You can bring in discard for control, board wipes for aggro, and play the most powerful midrange cards in the format besides Vizkopa and big OBZ. Speaking of which, OBZ is a reason I like Murder's downfall over dreadbore at least with a misers split: 3 DB 1 Downfall.
