Heading to FNM later. I opted to just say "fuck it" and build something on a whim. Just solid fucking Mono Red.

Pre-release tonight, then got work off tomorrow to do it all over again. Anyone else play 2-Headed Giant at the prerels. Its the only time its offered and is always way fun, plus you essentially get to open 2 pools and cherry pick the rares you want. I.e. dont do it with another red mage.

The THS release date is Sep 27, so I assume that you can take your hammers to FNM.

For a guy like you I would strongly recommend it. As long as your poker face doesn't suck, that is. I was good at it because Aspergers makes you pretty hard to read apparently.I really should learn to play poker, I love getting nerdy with percentages.
