I love how I just preordered my Firedrinker Satyrs for 0.30 apiece.
Where? I thought I got a pretty good deal when I paid 5x that on ebay...

I wish you could preorder stuff for MTGO. :frown:

That's why I'm spamming about Peak Eruption in every post. Most of current brews look like that. Make that Turn 6 RR for 2 into Turn Never RR.

^ yeah no MODO preorder = sad Zem

At least MODO doesn't lag a month behind now.

Is the delay a week now? I've been seriously debating selling my paper collection and going full tilt MTGO. Ain't nobody got time for FNM with droolies running hexproof.

Yeah 1 week. I'm full time MODO + borrow cards for live play.

The playset of fetches on my deck keep taunting me. They say "sell us and buy digital goyfs!"

I'm considering full time MODO as well. I've been having to take on more household responsibilities with my wife being sick. It's just so much easier to log on rather than packing up my cards and going to the LGS.

Ham: I know what you mean. I have a shit ton of old cards that are worth MONEY. I could easily sell my collection and make any deck I want on MTGO.

4 Chandra for $36, called it early.

So now that Larry94 is going to be bankrolling my entire season, what to build what to build.
I don't think they have gone below ¥2500 here. I cracked mine.

I want to do MTGO, but I have to download it again (cuz my computer crashed a month ago and i lost everything).

And it's not letting me download it.

My LGS is The Wizard's Cupboard. They're primarily an internet singles store. They just posted their preorders.

This question is mainly for Ham and Z, but anyone feel free to chime in.

What bots do you buy from and why?

I have been buying mostly from MTGOtraders.

Thanks Khaos! 4 Chained to the Rocks and 1 Firedrinker (the last one) for $12 shipped? Don't mind if I do.

Prerelease this weekend. I'm actually excited for the sealed tournament. It seems like it's going to be a blast.

Actually, helios, if you need more Satyrs, just wait. He'll put more up. What that bastard likes to do is only post 4 of anything at a time so when they sell out, he can raise the price as he puts more up.

This morning, Satyrs were .25 apiece and he had 1 left. So I bought it and waited for him to post 4 more. He did, but he bumped up the price to .30. So I bought the other 3 out of that 4. And you bought the last one.

I completely forgot about Chained to the Rocks on my orders. Damn.

I use 'Cardbot' I find it's consistently a little cheaper to buy from and they mass but my commons-uncommons. Been using it for 3 years, thereabouts.

I'll chime in for Cardbot.

I also use ASquareTradeUncommon a lot too.

I like MTGOTraders for big stuff, use the coupon code "deckedpaypal" for 8% off. For uncommon and whatnot I'll just buy from whatever bot has them in stock. MarlonMTGO.com has a good selection, and also offers a bot credit system via PayPal. The price spread on the bots is very tight since they all publish prices online. Most adjust them daily to stay competitive.

For sets currently being drafted, you can usually post a classifieds ad for a card you want. I offer a tix price higher than a typical bot buylist price but less than the bot would sell to me. If bonfires are selling for 15 but they're buying at 12, I'll post an ad buying them at 13.

Thanks again Khaos- Ima be watching for those. Don't even know if I'm going to play the aggro version, I'd rather play Big Red....but $.30, couldn't resist.

Yes, MTGOTraders is an online presence of some brick and mortar store somewhere, but I think they have employees staffing the main account about 16 hours a day. The MTGOTraders account will PM you when the cards are ready and open a trade to deliver them. It's a pretty nice system.

I'm in the middle of watching Looper right now. It's okay, but the one of the main plot points is that Bruce Willis is trying to kill some dude called the Rainmaker.

And all I can think about is that he wants to kill Patrick Sullivan.

When I first went started playing at my LGS there was this guy Justin who's my friend and this 13 year old kid(also our friend) who looked like brothers and had birthdays on the same day. We've been making looper references forever about those two.

The best thing was when they got the exact same haircut and showed up for FNM looking like some weird father and son duo.

Indeed, there was a great disturbance in the Force. It was if a million noobs on Sally cried out at once and then silenced by Z's great wisdom.

3rd rate Cedric Phillips? That's redundant.
