So who did you use your night action on? Me, Ham, or the intended recipient of Ham's mail?

So, here's where I'm at. I'm willing to lynch any one of these three people right now:

1. Ham's bomb target - because likely protected scum.
2. MoJo - Safe lynch. Worst case, it's a non-contributing townie and we've lost nothing of value.
3. Wraith - I think this case has been laid out well enough.


My first day I pushed a wagon that failed, then I voted on the wrong wagon the next day. I don't want to make another mistake.

1: We don't know who that is yet
2: I'd like the replacement to at least make a few posts before we do this. We don't have too many day phases left.
3: Not yet, but as of now he's our best lynch choice.

But if we find out who 1 is, we should lynch him Day 4.

Or today, if we can.

Another thought, What if someone else signed the letter? Jack for instance could have created a self confirming letter. Just a theory.

What would it confirm, aside from the fact that I received mail 20 or so days ago from a player no longer in the game?

Uhhhh, I think my mail was either made up was from InflateablePie meant for someone else. I think scum got my mail or some towny is not admitting it.

Nope. Ham was untargetable. Anything that would fuck up his ability had to be used on whomever Ham chose to mail last night.

Ham, MoJo's the only one who hasn't had input in this round. Now's as good a time as any to tell us who your target was.

Agree with the first point. I think wraith is more likely to be scum than Jones, but that could change, which is why we shouldn't put anyone to l-1 until we hear from MoJo's replacement.

Nope. Ham was untargetable. Anything that would fuck up his ability had to be used on whomever Ham chose to mail last night.

So it would have to be a global ability? Like in MTG. So here are some ideas what could affect the mail globally.

1. Return all mail to sender- That can't be as I got X or Pie's sent mail.
2. All mail is lost- we got mail
3. Mail was mixed up- sounds good and explains Ham and Jack's claim.

Anyone have any ideas for global mail affects that could have messed up their plan? This is a mystery that needs to be solved.

who did ham target then? The only answers to the problem I see are:

1. scum messed up the mail globally- I received someone else's mail. Inflateablepie could have been killed or Ham got his own mail (Jack Protected him), The mod said Pie was killed by paper cuts. Was that the letter bomb or scum? Did Scum even NK last night?
2. Scum Doc- That would mean there are more Vigs or a Serial killer as well (there are real world serial killers that were mail men)
3. There is a town Doc beyond Jack who saved me.

Why?

Well, it wouldn't put you at risk for anything and would make everyone here certain that what you claim to have done last night would be true, since you would have no time to create a false letter.

It wouldn't prove anything, plus my PM was so short that it could easily be made up. I'm back from lunch, going to take a bathroom break and write my post.

Last night I was thinking of the players who I would have liked to vig, and had this short list: Wraith, LMD, MoJo, Dechs.

I excluded the players who I mentioned in my proposal (Jack, Red) and the obvious town reads and dead players (rez, raspy, io2)

I suspected Wraith because of his awful day 2 hammer and a roleblocker claim.

I've suspected LMD because of lurky behavior and next to no contribution.

I've suspected MoJo for the same reasons, plus the scum-aligned reasoning for the day 1 hammer of raspy and subsequent attempts to paint me as scum with my "refusal" to vote.

I've suspected Dechs because Suga was an old scum read of mine and nothing he's posted has changed that. He posts more regularly, but I hadn't seen anything particularly pro-town going into night 2.

From those, I picked Wraith and LMD and decided between them which would limit the downside risk if I hit town.

Wraith had
posted continuously since the beginning of the game, in addition had made a semi-verifiable claim. If the vig failed and I left him alive, he would be available to explain himself the next day, or talk himself into a corner. Plus, his behavior and demeanor has matched his old town games.

LMD has been fairly inactive, made a semi-claim of being able to send 2 letters, but had otherwise not stuck out much. If I hit him and he was town, we wouldn't lose much.

I chose to send the following letter to LMD:

with instructions to Stardust that I intended to use my letter bomb ability with that message.

LMD was quick to vote for Wraith early today, but hasn't said anything in the following 2 pages.

I received no mail from anybody.

Exactly. Anyone that got the bomb wouldn't be alive to confirm your wording unless they were the protected scum, in which case they wouldn't confirm your wording anyway.

Jack, your odd demand here looks awfully scummy, especially with that little slip where you were trying to push the Wraith lynch by saying he could have role blocked you after you already claimed that your cloak action was confirmed.

That last bit was just spitballing. I was having a good train of thought, and just posting whatever popped up in my head. But yeah, that was a mistake.
