Actually for this you should blame Tom Servo and several banned gimmicks, none of which were created by me but some of which were used by me.

My own gimmick is still out there, biding its time, its join date is certainly not 2013 and its post count is certainly not low

Fixed, had to find a single host on TOR that was within the continental United States.
I have a very appropriate name for this gimmick. You might see it in the Newly Registered area at the bottom. Welcome to our newest member...

Vulgar Abuse of Power is also a gimmick of Tom Servo, banned.

Don't forget with the next gimmick to set the email address to something like
sallyadminssuck@gmail.com or whatever, that's always good for a chuckle.

Silly autolink, that's not a real address!

I forgot how fucking stupid people are in WCT. Like wow.

By the way guys, this is just worth a warning.
I suppose being born in the 70s, and been a municipal Firefighter I'm not so squeemish and I actually know how contamination works. I find your example comical, over the top and filled with hysteria.
<I would probably just tell you about the great blow job my wife gave me on my way over after I shook your hand and patted your kids on the head. Then I would ask your wife if she was a swinger since the both of your are kinky enough to tell me that you guys just boned in the table before dinner.
I might be next inclined to sexual gestures with phallic shaped foods while eyeing the ladies if your family.>
TLDR: Yeah your example is stupid
The indicated section is a little inappropriate for MTGS. Warning. --Senori
But apparently calling
out people for logical fallacies is worth an infraction. Moderation at its finest!

I mean, what did you want me to blather about? What key points would you like to address? It's just simple logic stuff... if you want to get Gals to talk to you like a real person you just have to realize that he's an improvement-based entity, kind of gets greedy and it can get pretty annoying talking to him sometimes because he wants to see this constant positive change in others while he himself just follows the same base precepts that makes him Gals; nor is it hard to realize that there's stupid, worthless shit going on over there like the way ER talks is a real problem that needs people to think about and summit over; if I'm veiled of meaning that's because I believe the silliness is self-evident. I'm a go-getter type A personality on a website not
built to handle it.

Guy just plays the "Good Cop, Bad Cop" routine and isn't interested inasmuch improving the quality of their management than instead making sure that some of their lower-tier staff remains content and assuaged that the barbarians are being kept at the gate.
It kinda pays out for the simple reason that 90% of the site (minus Market Street) is self-managed for the most and that the quality of the moderation plays a small role in the day-to-day affairs (i.e. noone cares about forum politics).

I guess its hilarious to see his gimmick-tracking routines with stuff like "I'm 99% sure you are Tom Servo, I only could be 100% sure if I saw you posting next to me, but rest assured that my exceptional gimmick-tracking tools are formal", and then he spends time posting in the mod lounge how Clock King had a bunch of false positives and stuff.
At least I think it was him belittling Clock King.

I just always find it funny that he doesn't have the greatest memory for fine detail (not even saying that as a slight), but he's got, you know, 100% access to this forum with millions of posts so this absolutely huge weave of details to pick and choose from. This makes his entire administration style come across as
basically one big
argumentum verbosum.

Well we all know that Iridium staff both do and do not farm this site for information on the regular.

Oh jeez, I heard this conversation IRL a little while ago:
Person 1: "I'm building deck X."
Person 2: "Does it have red in it?"
Person 1: "Yup."
Person 2: "Then don't get the list from Salvation."
Not even joking.

Can't believe I forgot to post that earlier, I was laughing about it all night.

This is a pretty normal thing. Any player worth their salt knows that the place is a literal cesspool. Shit ideas about.
I can't claim that there aren't a few shiney turds amongst the slew, but they're usually silenced in
pretty grand fashion.
PS: People here say similar things about Starcity, and I tend to agree with them. I think a lot of the best Magic articles written right now are on Quiet Speculation or Legit MTG simply because they aren't trying to please everyone, but rather saying what is true to your average player.

Also how do people like Tormod function in daily life? I don't get it.

CBF's written works have always been awful, but their video content is incredibly good and basically always has been. Specifically Caleb Durward and LSV.

Vulgar Abuse of Power has been banned for being a troll account.

In your appeal thread, you should restrict yourself to only quoting lyrics from songs by the band Tool.

I was seriously considering doing this with Streetlight Manifesto lyrics.

Also acceptable. I would also accept quotes from Elfen Lied.

Everyone in this place is unhappy. And since they're unhappy, they're probably looking for someone worse off than they are.

I take that back I won't stop singing when I'm dead
I'll sing from the great beyond, I will echo in your head
And if you think taking your life will set you free
You've got something to learn, it's called humility
You've got something to learn, it's called humility

If we include 99 Songs of Revolution this almost becomes too easy.
I should have known you'd bid me farewell,
There's a lesson to be learned from this and I learned it very well,
Now, I know you're not the only starfish in the sea,
If I never hear your name again, it's all the same to me.
And I think it's gonna be alright,
Yeah, the worst is over now,
The mornin' sun is shinin' like a red rubber ball.

I haven't listened to much Streetlight Manifesto, thanks for turning me on to that, Alex.
