Tezz v. Grixis. I was playing Tezz. We copied the lists straight from the Vintage Championships site and went to town. I've never played a more complex game of Magic.

I've got a standard gpt this weekend o.o

Also, I may have just bought FF6 on my vita, and might be getting sucked into it...
Ad I'm not srue if I regret my imminent loss of social life...
What's a social life?

What level do I have to be to get one?
Don't ask me, my social life has withered to the point of just being FNM and talking to y'all, god help me.

Melira Pod is fun. I like Scapeshift, personally
I really hate the format, but yeah, Melira Pod is the most appealing to me.
I don't understand how you can like standard and hate modern.

Melira is a better deck than Kiki in many ways, but it does have a much steeper learning curve.

I don't care much for Standard either, but I have to play it. I don't have to play modern.

If you can afford Vintage there is absolutely no reason you shouldn't just play Vintage and only Vintage forever.

Care to do a bit of a write-up in the Vintage forums? There's a few guys that play at my shop, and I've always wanted to just proxy up a list and start a game with them.

I've literally only played 3 Vintage games in the history of ever, so I wouldn't exactly be qualified to make authoritative statements on Vintage. My experience is that it was incredibly complex, despite being completely busted.

The comics are sweet, but as someone who is into both, I'd have to say I prefer the show simply because the characters (specifically ones that aren't in the comic, I think you know who I mean) are much, much better.

There's a Modern GPT next weekend at my LGS. It's probably going to be filled with Standard decks. I was going to go and play Pod, but my wife has a prior engagement.
Doesn't that mean you're free?

Twin is pretty even.

Affinity is unfavourable.

I think 3 dismembers are a little too much. Get a kataki in there instead. Or fracturing gust. Something to improve the affinity matchup.

All aggro and midrange decks are actually favorable for you. At least it felt that way for the few months I played this deck. Affinity is harder but I won't call it unfavorable. Any combo deck is a tough matchup. Tron is average-ish, with games feeling completely one-sided going either way, depending on draws. UWR is not as favorable as you think.
