I could rock Jet.
If I was a homosexual who used anime characters as my avatar, I would at least go with the tried and true.
I would have to go with Death the Kid (soul eater), I identify with the nearly debilitating neurotic tendencies.

I could also go with Quatre Raberba Winner (gundam wing) if I were really trying to gay it up.
You do need to try to gay it up a little more.

You're like the least gay member of this clan.

And that's counting the fact that you voluntarily have sex with men.

The FoS - where straight men go to act gay. And the gays act straight.

Scrumper - tell her to sit on your face and you'll eat your way to her heart.

Problem solved.

RT or Khaos - One of you needs to get 'hold of Scrumper and teach him proper dick-slapping technique and etiquette...let it not be said that we of the FoS don't know how to resolve issues with our companions/life partners/fuckbuddies. ;-)

In reference to the earlier comment on pyromancer goggles, this past weekend I gave windstrider a pair of Halloween-grade (read-CHEAP!) steampunk goggles to use in sporting up his uber-cool top hat (he and his superdupercute boyo came by to hang out on Saturday). He donned them and looked very much the part of the pyromancer...then his boy climbed up and without a monent's hesitation pulled one of the lenses right off of the goggle frame. I can't say why, but the whole scene was just flat hilarious and Dan's devious little toe-headed monkey was eating up all the laughter that ensued. That little guy is
the best antidepressant on earth...you just can't help but be in a good mood when he starts in on his toddler antics.

Windstrider seems to be an impactful presence in my life on many fronts right now...the lady friend that he and his wife introduced me to is quickly becoming a relevant part of my life...she and her son were hanging out with us Saturday as well and my kids didn't miss a beat in making her boy feel most welcome in our abode. I hadn't been holding out any particular hope for this holiday season, but it seems to be shaping up kinda nice! In fact, the bunch of us and others of Dan's circle of friends are planning a holiday party in early December. Looking forward to sharing many glasses o' cheer...

On the Magic front, WS and I are plotting the decimation of FNM at one of the local LGS's. He is already developing a reputation there playing Walter White (he's become "that guy" who people don't want to have to face), and we're thinking that the local meta would be pretty
soft to Br hasty aggro that can take the control role as well. I'm going to look at tweaking up Nuwen & Fate's deck for the known suspects to see if we can rock it a bit...should be fun! My nephew and great-nephew head out in a few days for GP Albuquerque...I'm jealous as that event is flat-out going to rock. So many cool artists and side events...sigh. That my great-nephew is going to be playing in a GP at 10 years of age is pretty damn cool in my book...talk about an awesome dad, my nephew is a pretty singular individual.

Is anyone else heading out for Albuquerque this weekend?

Don't know if my lack of mental preparation will kick me in the ass or not, but day 2 of having "quite" smoking.

I'm antsy, irritable, fiending, and grinding me teeth.

But after a month, you're basically cured right? right? This'll be fun >_>

Question for Z: cutting those Pyromancer and squeezing in some Blood Crypts in exchange for 1 mainboard Rakdos' Return and a couple of Dreadbore to the side could be a good idea?

@ RN - I won't guess at Z's insights into the deck, but if you were to push that far into Dega it would be straining the value of the deck. That far into 3 colors you would do just as well to run Dega Mid/Control and eschew the synergy package in favor of big, resilient creatures and a full-blown control package. I would think that running extra shocks and black sources would just clunk up the game plan on the pyro deck. But again, just my unrequested opinion.

It's just a burn deck guys. The black is to give you an outside chance of casting other parts of toil/trouble while still being able to cast mainboard cacklers and boarded reckoners, but you're just a RW burn deck.

It's probably because it's casual room, not a daily, but MJ is playing rather poorly. Lots of kind of sloppy plays. Kind of sprised by his rant about how bad shock is too.

I guess you're doing well with the list though? What are your thoughts on Spark Trooper? Where do you want it?

I'm kind of suprised that RW burn took down the mocs, but I'm always happy to see red win things.

I understand why Temple of Silence is in the deck, but would it maybe be better to play some number of mutavaults?

Tried Dega. Didn't liked it.
I'm in the middle of a motivational crisis right now, as I'm just fed up with Walter White, and I don't seem to be able to adjust to any other deck: I've tried T1 builds like Naya Control and B devotion as well as some homebrew builds.

This morning I
woke up at 5 am after dreaming of some fantastic UWR build, but when I tried to build it on cockatrice I just realized it has the same flaws as Esper while lacking Hero's Downfall, 4 scrylands and Blood Baron.

NOooooooooooooooooooooooooooo on mutavaults.

You're playing 21 lands and you need all of them to be colored sources. The CIPT isn't that big of a liability since you have lots of 1 and 2 mana plays and scry makes your deck playable.

Trooper is good for the mirror(the burn mirror, and maybe white and/or green agro mirror, not the RDW mirror) and control.

I will say from watching MJ play, satyr did work every time it was cast.

If only you watch the finals, it was really funny - I truly believe the winner was more shocked then anyone else since he was on 12 points while everyone else was either 15 or 18 when his standing push him into top8.

It's a huge transition. Trust me, it's not easy. While I definitely support your decision, it changes your whole lifestyle. For example, even going into a gas station for beer or gas is tough - you go to pay and all you see is aa wall of smokes behind the cashier. Or when you get ready for the day and you pat your pockets to check for your keys, wallet, knife, etc, you'll feel like you're missing something - which is your lighter and smokes. And don't even get me started on that feeling you get after dinner, or sex, or when you start getting your drink on. It's tough.

But really, the hardest part is socializing with smokers. Just because you
quit buying them, there's always that temptation to bum JUST ONE cuz you had a rough day.

My advice? Chew lots of gum, try the patch (just don't sleep with it on - the dreams are too weird and "real"), and changes your daily routine in just the slightest to accommodate the change. The first month is hard. The second is harder. But, by the 3rd month, you'll see your progress, feel more motivated, and it WILL get easier.

In a pinch, Khaos' beard can help turn this around.
I rarely skip a Khaospawn wall of text because I know there is always piss at the end of the rainbow.

Please watch from 1h50m and learn MJ's Mono Red wisdom: http://www.twitch.tv/darkest_mage/b/480977502
It's probably because it's casual room, not a daily, but MJ is playing rather poorly. Lots of kind of sloppy plays. Kind of sprised by his rant about how bad shock is too.

I guess you're doing
well with the list though? What are your thoughts on Spark Trooper? Where do you want it?

I'm kind of suprised that RW burn took down the mocs, but I'm always happy to see red win things.

I understand why Temple of Silence is in the deck, but would it maybe be better to play some number of mutavaults?
If only you watch the finals, it was really funny - I truly believe the winner was more shocked then anyone else since he was on 12 points while everyone else was either 15 or 18 when his standing push him into top8.
How did that happen?

Standings, here are all the mocs11 list I'm not sure why they didn't show the 2nd half but he was having a tough time beating GBx.

EDIT: The list which won in the end was Arise! Phoenix, Arise! by Anssi A

@zem: Thanks for telling about the deck, and sure like how it works. On the other hand, I believe I see that handle of the streamer before in a 2-man (Can't remember how the game ended up, though).
