I always err on the side of land light vs. land heavy for the simple reason that Screw>flood. When you're mana flooded, you have to draw a lot of consecutive cards to get out of it, assuming you aren't playing something like sphinx's revelation in standard or a broodmate dragon equivalent in limite...

I tilt when it matters and there's money on the line, not when it counts for nothing. It's an esteem issue. They see each loss as a reflection on them and take it personally. If they lose, they seem themselves as losers. It doesn't matter if it's a causal or competitive game. Their esteem is tied t...

Why the hell to people tilt when they lose on Cockatrice? It doesn't count for anything! The worse thing that can happen is I save the replay and chuckle to myself about it later.
They take winning and losing personally.

2HG wise, the control player and beat down player seems to be a good set up. My buddy and I found that small aggro isn't too good. We've had the best luck by playing more midrange threats and VCA engines.

White isn't deep enough in Theros Sealed. That said my white splash was the nutter butter I can definitely get behind this. It seems that most of the key cards you want for a W/x heroic deck are uncommon/rare. I think my perception of reality was distorted from my first prerelease when I pulled 5 r...

Choosing white doomed you I've had the most success in Theros limited with white, but it usually needs something else with it. Pack wise, that white promo card fucking sucks. Sometimes I think the designers at Wizards have contests to see who can make the worst intro pack rare. The winner gets a go...

I went to my second prerelease today. I did terrible this time, going 2-3. I opted for the white pack and barely got anything to work with. I ended up playing a really bad G/B deck with some ramp. I'm starting to think that G/B is the most playable looking pile of crap I've seen in Theros limited. I...

Went to my first prerelease for this set last night. I picked white as my pack and ended up playing U/W heroic, but really it was almost entirely white except for 4 cards. So, going off that copied and pasted article about BNG draft that was like 4 pages ago... I'll probably pick white at the prerelease. It helps his weaker ones too. The big one was Esper control where sandals eventually lead to a stream of 5+/5+ monsters with haste. Green card is actually not horrible if a bit narrow...I love the concept that your 1-drops don't have to be useless draws in the late game, but the damned Heroic trigger requirement is one too many hoops to line up for anything but an enchantment deck. http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/attachment.php?...

If this card read, "Deal 5 damage to target player or creature and if it's your turn, scry 2." Then, I'd like it a lot more, but right now, it's a really narrow card. But you can't kill a Blood Baron, Stormbreath Dragon, +1 Jace, +1 Elspeth, Polukranos, Advent of the Wurm Token, etc. etc. ...
