I'll be giving the phoenixes and Titans str a try tonight and report back. Gold fishing so far is nice, but I don't think I can get behind 4 berserkers.

4 Berserker is really good with Flamewake Phoenix.

Magma Jet is better to flip to Abbot and isn't dead against UB control or board states clogged by fatties. Searing Blood is certainly more powerful though.

I usually just buy the commons and uncommons that are playable from my LGS and wait on the rares to drop a little before buying unless I think they are appropriately priced. I bought Pia and Kiran Nalaar and Abbot for that reason.

I don't think any deck wants more than 4 Fleshbag Marauder. I do think there's a deck somewhere in Standard for this kind of strategy, but it will at least be BG for Evolutionary Leap and probably Abzan for Abzan Ascendancy.

It's definitely a spicy one. The maindeck is a bit soft to Twin but the sideboard makes up for it. I'm always looking for an excuse to jam 4 Figures and 4 Lavaman though.

I think a split of Forked Bolt and Lavaman is reasonable. I still like having 6 answers to turn one dorks on the draw.
