Last Fire Emblems were pretty easy but once you come back to the beginning of the serie it was hardcore (SNES versions). Like Hard mode of first Fire Emblem on GBA

Week one Europearn market follow-up : -Thunderbreak regent price has doubled (3 to 6), even though she didn't show a lot during this week-end. -Dragonlord Ojutai went the same way (3.5 to 9), good call from you Thrillho and we have seen it as 2-of in many UW lists. -Same for the new Sidisi (1.5 -> 3...

During my testing, Thunderbreak Regent was a great choice in R/W. It also allow you to play Draconic Roar instead of Lightning Strike. Is everyone going in a different way and still sticking to pre-DTK version of the deck ? (the classic one or Ben Stark) Edit : I just checked Top64 Decklist from thi...

As I'm not following the US market, I will just add my point for the European market but it might be the same. - Thunderbreak Regent (low from 3.05€) 3€ is what you want for this type of card, it might go higher as people would want them as 4-of and then stabilize at a lower price. - Dragon Whispere...

I played 3 prerelease this week-end, went 3-1 then 1-3 then 2-2 Every pool was Red heavy, so I was really pleased (opened 2 Kolaghans, red common foils etc.) but all my lost were to Green base decks. Their creatures was all the time stronger and I could'nt manage to get through. Other losses due to ...

Seems like an interesting deck. How has it fared in testing?
Here's what I'm planning to play week 1.

Searing Blaze = Draconic Roar

Ashcloud phoenix = Thunderbreak Regent

Nothing much to report. I played against casual decks and only one great player/deck who was on Sultai midrange. He was playing 4 Charms to try to beat my ass but it didnt work out.

First playing Pilgrim/Abzan advantage/SGM. I liked your style Khaos !

Because Brimaz is WW, you often do not play him on turn 3. I mostly see him as a 4-drop slot, he's not on the same level as Rabblemaster/Outburst in our plan.

Also thinking about the 2 Wild Slash in the mainboard. I'd think that 2 VS instead could more valuable against control (kill a Tasigur or protect a creature from a removal).
Maybe doing 2 to the dome is still something.

I will try 1 Soulfire Grand Master when I find one.

Yes but I may need more training with the deck to evaluate it. I formerly planned to switch him with 2 wild slash in mainboard for more removal and less pressure again control/midrange but was finally expecting some control decks. Ashcloud on turn 4 + SBD on 5 is always a huge swing for your opponen...

Best way to get over tilt is to come to the realization that you're not as good as you think are, and that magic is a game of variance with a really high skill ceiling in mechanical play and deck building. There is always room for improvement and getting mad isn't going to get you anywhere. That's ...

Mardu Midrange is lacking the individual card quality of Abzan Midrange and Sultai Reanimator I strongly disagree with this statement. Finally making an entrance

Hi everyone,

I've been lurking there and before on the MTGS threads for almost a year.

I'm a fellow red mage from North of France, sometimes I just won't get all of your puns but fuck it, I wanna be a part of it.

Playing Burn in Standard and RDW in Modern, I'd be glad to my experiences with you.
