There's also a fairly good chance she'll be reprinted in M15, every core set 'walker so far has had at least 2 years.

If it's my only 2-drop i'll play it on 2, but I have 8 other 2s that let me get to 4 on turn 3 with BTE-Nykthos. as for overextending, it depends what you're dropping, if they just wrath away a pair of 2/2s I'm not that upset, and several of my 4s don't die to wraths, and those are the ones that are...

LP, cutting magma jet is definately a plus, and so far I like the split, fanatic can win games out of nowhere, but swallower is a much better play turns 3-5, and enables better nut draws. Purphoros has been better than I expected, I might try to find room for a third. Wrath, I was skeptical of BTE w...

I never mentioned anything about FNM or local meta. I play in large tournaments with 70+ people with several PT regulars. Why are you people acting like this deck is the best? It's not even close to being #1. There are obviously problems with it. One of them is Firedrinker Satyr. I'm not arguing ba...

I was extreamly skeptical of the BTEs in the CFB Devotion lists, but Karsden's article has convinced me to give it a shot. Since I have 0 Domri Rades and Chandra is better than Xenagos anyway, my plan is to play a mono-R version, somewhere between the CFB list and Cornelissen's.

I already have 90% of the deck, i'll have to try it out. I've been avoiding paper modern since both of the decks I owned got banned in consecutive updates, but that list looks pretty sweet. Any excuse to play Koth again.

Lots of new members over the last two weeks. Good work team. This goes to prove that infact sarcasm is the most effective tool for endearing people to your cause.
It helps that, as much as you all try to hide it, most of you actually have a clue.

Yeah I don't bother going there since you guys use the Boros thread and the Kuroda Boros thread interchangeably.

:teach:

Edit. Solid decklist new guy. JadePhoenix ~ Mech Warrior?
Thanks, and you are the first person in the 5+ years I've been using this SN to get that, yeah.

I'm running Big Red to begin with, but since I opened 3 temples of triumph this weekend, I may take it as a sign to move toward Big Boros... My meta is aggro heavy even under normal circumstances, so I think it'll be a better choice than the endless mirrors and terrible GW matchups if I played RDW. ...

I wouldn;t call that pool terrible, it seems fine, if not exciting. I'd probably build R/G beats, but I'd need to lay it out to be sure. just smashing big, dumb, creatures into your opponent seems to be good enough most of the time in this format...

I played in Three prereleases this weekend, went white one and red twice. Only lost matches with the white pool, which serves me right. So far, the format seems pretty sweet. FWIW, I agree that it would be hard to have a really bad pool, the commons and uncommons seem to have a relatively even power...

Destroy, yes.
Exile, just that one.
Can't find any strong Emissary.
You can't find any strong cards in a cycle of hill giants of every color with multiple upsides?

So MD your enchantment removal for all the bestow running around! The only playable bestow card is Boon Satyr? Also, there's only one "exile target enchantment" spell. It costs 3 mana and is green sorcery. All 5 emmisaries are not just playable but very strong, and several others are fine...

Gush is played in basically every mono blue list since ever? Temporal Fissure hasn't been the problem in quite a long while. It's been the fact that the deck had literally no bad matchups and could often just slam down an Eldrazi that the opponent couldn't beat as soon as turn 4. And this was WITH ...

We alternate between pauper and EDH on Sundays here. It appears my LGS doesn't do Pauper. That leaves MtGO... which I honestly never learned how to navigate. Pauper isn't really a healthy format anyway, you aren't missing out on much. The bans they announced on Monday should help with that. Things ...

Pauper is strictly a casual format, right? No tournaments?
It's a real format on MTGO. It's actually a really sweet format. There are 2 different competitive mono red decks.
