I'm probably letting my fondness of siege in my mardu deck make me biased in using it in RW. That deck is built around siege a little more, and having the sacrifice on butcher makes the dragon mode much more consistent and potent as a finisher.

Is anybody still trying the Sam Black Roc version of this deck? That has been my main deck for awhile now so I was just curious if this is just the better deck, or they play differently enough that maybe that's simplifying the matter too much.

I liked a lot of things about BBDs list. Brutal hordechief was obviously a card I was considering, although its hard not to play butcher. The hordechief may just be outright better in this build.

Sam Black is my favorite player so I'm a sucker for most things he comes up with. The second I saw this I knew it was gonna be the first deck I tried when FRF came out.

I was kinda lazy and just used that sideboard Sam had but most of the cards seemed relevant in my meta so I rolled with it. 1 Chandra 2 Seige sounds like a good mix to try out.

I used to always imagine tron as being a super clunky deck so I was surprised how hard that matchup looked. Haven't played against it that much it looks like that matchup pretty much revolves around how consistently they get tron online and being able to tempo them out with our cheap counters.

Just beat UWR in a grindy one. Used a spreading seas to cut him off of white when he only had a fountain out, not sure if that was correct. Always assume I need to hold on to seas as long as I can to snipe his manlands
