…most of the time! Bring him in vs. aggro with the Dismember/Repeal package. Great surprise blocker to trade with a Goblin Guide or Bob. He's extra Squelches or Pierces vs. Twin and BGx, he's a great Repeal target in a pinch. He makes Fabricate better, too.

Well the mana is not good in my opinion, and playing 1-drops just emphasizes that.

I was thinking of maybe going the other direction: Underworld Cerberus. Sac to Tymaret so I can get back all my Rat fodder.

I had that thought too, but with the increasing numbers of blind obedience in sideboards right now, I shied away from that ultra hasty approach.

If I did go with the Ashley and Exava belly-rubbin aggro, I would probably consider going Shock + Searing Blood and drop the Jet.

Interesting debate. Seems like the classic power vs. consistency issue.

How has the 4 Devour Flesh in the board been for you? Which match ups besides Naya Hexproof do you board this in? It seems like a counterintuitive card in your deck with the life gain aspect.
