Dies to Removal

So, aggro just took a huge hit and MBD is now way better against us. It does not look great. Unless they have a killer aggro card in the wings. Going bigger is looking very attractive now.

Mulliganed into oblivion / manascrewed every game. This deck angers the red gods. Back to big boros ! :D I have the same at times with 23 lands, can be frustrating. And the odds of hitting 2+ lands after the first mull are "only" 75%, which still make one in four mulligans a double mull.....

Update on Angelic Edict: played about 6 matches with it in the sideboard now and I'm not 100% convinced. I'm yet to use it on an enchantment or a creature where the exile effect would be relevant. It does get stuck in your hand sometimes as well, as 5 lands can take a while to hit. On the plus side...

The only matchup I've had problems with so far are vs White Weenie. Once they resolve a Spear of Heliod the game is very hard to win. Not sure what to do for this matchup. What about -1 Exava, +1 Dragon? The mana count would support a dragon.

If I was going to keep playing the deck, I would probably do that and cut the Ultimate Price and a Doom Blade in the board for a couple of Mortars.

I just got blown out by Anger of the Gods in game 3 against Red Devotion in a 8-man. Am I supposed to play around that card post board against them? I assumed they didn't run it. Am I wrong or did I get screwed by a lucky sideboard card?
