Interesting, but not ubiquitous like Young Pyromancer because it's dead against creature light decks. He's great against WW or other creature heavy decks that can't get rid of him, the question is how much do you need to shore up those matchups? He'll be fun to play around with in boros burn.

If I had to run r/b right now, I'd go with something like: [deck] Creatures 19 4 Rakdos Cackler 4 Young Pyromancer 2 Tymaret, the Murder King 4 Chandra's Phoenix 3 Exava, Rakdos Blood Witch 2 Stormbreath Dragon Spells 15 4 Magma Jet 4 Lightning Strike 3 Dreadbore 4 Ultimate Price Thighs 2 2 Chandra...

I don't see it that way. All your burn spells do roughly the same thing with the exception of SSkullcrack. Sure Duress has a few more targets but I think the effect on the matchup percentage is negligible. At least in the burn heavy list burning them to death without even getting in with a creature...

Is Arena Athlete preferable to Goblin Shortcutter? Haven't done any testing, but I see merits to both.
