Boom! http://www.channelfireball.com/videos/channel-zemanjaski-standard-rw-aggro Awesome set of videos! Realised your line of play against Pack Rat (i.e. attacking into them and only killing them later on) is far better than mine - I would have always snap burnt out the rat turn 2 in that situation...

Interestingly, for those that have SCG Premium, Brad has just put up an article saying that the RW Burn deck he played was the worst deck he's played in Standard for 4 years! Mostly he's referencing it's lack of ability to recover when you're behind, with no cards like Stormbreath to finish.

No worries! I agree completely, the sideboard as a whole looks like it could use some work. I would say the Zealots are for early pressure in the control matchup but I'd prefer Cacklers here as a 1 drop instead I think.

great job lazerburn beating down the DUKE!!!
@LazerBurn, Reid has a set of vids on Starcity Premium today showing this daily and your match. Pretty interesting to see it from both sides of the table. He wasn't expecting the dragon G1 ;)

So this deck just won the Columbus SCG Open going 12-1 overall. Is it someone here? Looks not a million miles from MDU's various builds.

How do you all rate Warleader Helix ? Its 4cc duel colour spell which can't kill SBD and BBV, it does deal 4 damage on a target so it can be pointed at creatures (which is important) and it gains you 4 life, however in theory casting Shock on Ash Zealot (T2) will gain you virtually more then 4 life...

Very well done! Good to see all these positive results coming in!

I personally think real time commentary is the best thing about MDU's vids (and the music obviously). Just getting an insight into certain decisions - whether they be plays, scrying or mulligans, has improved my game massively.

As it stands Dauntless's Warleader Boros and PyroSkies are the most likely candidates I'll take for the champs, while statistically I know I should add the 25th lands I'm going to keep it at 24 because I value 4x SBD + Helix and I do believe shipping a card with scry is like a sudo draw. Just out o...

@MDU - your video links are pointing to your YT dashboard by the way, rather than the videos. Really enjoying these though, definitely helps being able to see the plays and why you're making them! @RaidaTheBlade 2nd SE report 6472946 Standard Elimination R1: Boros Aggro vs Br Control (Event 6472946)...

It was 4 Toil // Trouble yes. He had a pretty rough time against the U/W deck.

I like this a lot MDU, even though Madcap Skills was hilarious! My only other thoughts were Sylvan Caryatid to smooth out the mana a bit more (less important now it's only 2 colour) and maybe a Heliod, God of the Sun (he's an enchantment, he generates enchantments - provides a bit of late game etc).

Just went 3-1 in a DE using Zem's Pyro deck from a couple of days ago (love it by the way!). R/W Boros Devotion (0-2) Game 1 was pretty close but ultimately I couldn't find the last point of damage to finish it. Game 2, missed the 3rd land drop and was stomped by a couple of Reckoners and a Fanatic....

Hi guys, New to the forums and thought I'd say 'hello'! Used to play Type 2 (as it then was) tournaments from Revised through to the Tempest Block playing mostly Sligh or Suicide Black. 15 years off and I get randomly drawn back in thanks to Duels of the Plainswalkers on the Xbox. Now I'm signed up ...
