I split my sealed pools into 4 piles: Bombs, removal, dudes, tricks, and complete turds then I split those piles by color. Then I determine based on this grid where the strength is. It usually works out that I run whichever color has the best removal + whatever color has the best dues, ties are brok...

I just remembered a vicious seething jimmy rustling offense: LEGGINGS ARE NOT GODDAMN PANTS!!! Booster draft has all the good things people say about sealed, only it's actually true, and a good player can hedge his odds even without bombs. No bombs in sealed, goodluck, you might be able to get there, but you're probably going to get humped. I say this as a limited player, I go most seasons wi...

SUCH GOOD TIMES KAZE. I'm also firmly in the camp of sealed is an awesome format. I view sealed the same way I view manascrew/flood. My first thought is madness cards, you are pitching them to jaya anyway. Violent eruption leaps immediately to mind. I have jaya in my kumano deck, and those and that's a great card to pitch to her (I would run ve even without a discard outlet, because divisible damage spells are cool).

So the general opinion is that we play sealed because we "have to"? Good, I'm glad it's not just me. I do have a friend who like the format though. She's not great at constructed (half the time I build decks for her, but she does well with white weenie), and she can't draft well, but for s...
