MDU's Rx Builds

Here's SaffronOlive's idea for a budget red aggro deck. His voice is kind of annoying, but I wanted to know your thoughts.

MDU's Rx Builds

I really HATE the tournament practice room so even when testing I like to put some tokens/tickets on the line to improve the competition. I really wanted to like Sin Prodder (I have a foil playset), I'm a support of Vexing Devil (in Modern Burn) but Sin Prodder is just to fragile (as a creature) an...

Haven't like Sin Prodder either. Haven't tried Avaricious Dragon but looks fun.

Thanks for the update! BTW, how do you test? MTGO casual matches?

MDU's Rx Builds

Hmm, do we really want to splash and lose consistency? I personally love mono colors for the fact that we don't have to worry about balancing mana, just how many mountains we need. :P If anything, I think black would be the best. For white, the only thing that I think the splash would be worthy for ...

@MDU

In your Naya burn, could you replace Scalding Tarn with Wooded Foothills? Wouldn't that also make it a little easier to fetch for your lands you need?

I agree the mana base seems greedy, but so far, I've not had that much of a problem casting them on their turns. I've found Ultimate Price great in the mirror, any aggro (except Abzan), company decks, green devotion, etc. Anything where their big creatures are usually mono-colored. Erase I'm... stil...

I've been giving this list a try and have been liking fairly well. It's Edgar Magalhaes's list from GP Toronto but some major tweaks. I threw this list together and will test it out here soon. It's Craig Wescoe's list from TCGPlayer with Xenagos and a single Purphoros added, replacing his four Prophetic Flamespeaker s. The land base has been working well in my solitaire games, but it still may need to be tweaked. Creatures (19) 2 ...

Very nice. Boon Satyr was a little awkward for me as well. Another problem I had was the massive amounts of life-loss just from the lands. Maybe it was just variance, but I had trouble hitting what I needed to, and when I did, I was always paying life for it. Maybe we can work on that and make it a ...

Nice work. This looks like a lot of fun! I'm going to throw it together and test it out today on Cockatrice. Might even make some videos of the testing. I immediately think of Eidolon of Countless Battles being in here somewhere, but that would probably mean double red or double green needs to be dr...

Round 2: Kept a 1-land hand and was stuck on 3 lands. Was greedy and lost because of it. 0-2. Match 2: MUD AGAIN Roun...
