Alright guys, this is it. Voting time!
I pre-selected 10 options. There were a total of 20 names submitted in that thread, but I removed those that got negative feedback already, and those that seemed too corny or not catchy enough, and I grouped a couple so they could be included.
I gave everyone three votes (3) and changing your vote is allowed.
Vote away!

thediscardpile.com / discardpile.com
diestoremoval.com

I know I voted for one of them, but I'm mostly partial to *not* having a name that sounds like we're in the MTGNews --> MTGSalvation --> MTG*something* family. DTR does sound nice.

Interesting numbers. I think a tiebreaker poll will be needed.

Even though the name MTG Community has grown on me, I've come around strongly to diestoremoval.com. I think that makes for a better logo/banner, as well. (We can use magic art in the fan site kit, right?)

the only issue i have with diestoremoval is that it has so many almost words in it that you have trouble figuring out where the words start and end. maybe it isn't that big of a deal, but it's kinda bothering me

I like diestoremoval because most of us held some sort of comedic weight in our last mtg community and it's a funny name that still has something to do with the game. It is also a little symbolic of the Gutter's death.
gogomtg is good too, the rest suck

If we were ever to become an actual name in the mtg world, be a booming community and whatnot, I would rather have a unique name that doesn't just reinforce that we're playing mtg. i'd want to hear someone say 'did you see the new wotc spoiler on diestoremoval?'
dtr is also a good acronym. both ways to say the name roll off the tongue.

Cool. It is also more "brandable". Looks like we have a name, pretty much, but we can let this poll run its curse, I guess...

No offense guys but thats an atrocious website name like pf said its hard to even tell what it says. Short websites names are almost always better.

Why would we want a website name that was so long everyone acronymed it? Wouldnt gogomtg be more likely to appear in search engines? Wouldnt new players (the kind not already devoted to mtg forums) be more likely t click something related to mtg?
Picking the name so it will look cool after we're real successful seems a bit backwards.

Gogomtg can also be shortened to GG MTG which could have a double meaning as GoGo or Good Game.

I'm with kpaca. Maybe we just domain squat both names for a while and just keep inviting people here, see what people will choose just out of the two.
