I bet less than a third of the PTQ players are going infinite. I know I'm not.
Anyways, they DID fix a few problems according to the article. Like now having the ability to manually report a result and end the match if it has stalled an event. I know that was the cause of one of the ptqs I was in that broke

Bout to say, your making a remarkably large assumption if wizards isn't getting money from at least half of the attendees for a ptq
Cause they'd fix that.....quickly

For awhile I thought that taking down the DE was wizard's conspiracy theory to punish inf. grinders (no matter how good you are if your only option is to face other grinders over and over with low EV staying inf. becomes hard) but they brought it back with killed my theory

Looks really good. No removal but you should be faster than everyone anyways

yeah. i passed a divine verdict for nimbus naiad. and then took voyage's end highly over something arguably better (another hopeful eidolon) because i think having at least one removal-ish spell was more important.

Damn. I've only done two 64 man drafts before but I've never gone 3-0. I thought there used to be another draft after that but now it seems like you just continue playing with the same deck?

yeah. i shouldn't have lost, opponent was at 1. then game two he blew me out with drown in sorrow.

Playing in a Modern DE, took down round 1 against mono-red Koth control featuring Blood Moons, Magus of the Moon, and a ton of hasty dragons.

I was playing mono white prison in the modern DE last night and in round 3 I lost to that same draw game 1. So I board out my creature control and mull into a leyline of sanctity...this time he has 2 goblin guides and a keldon marauders....x_x

lulz, I don't feel too bad about it because I played Rb burn for a while and found that it was awful in any serious tournament. It's an incredibly all-in deck, dependent almost entirely on the top of your deck. Can't be mad if he ran good against me, the 2-0 deck he'll see in round 3 should pack his shit without lube. JUSTICE!

Beat UR Twin in round 3, came back from a double Tectonic Edge to knock me to 2 land vs. his 4.
There is no justice in the world, the burn player won his round 3.

Fuck shit cock I'm matched up against a GoST deck in round 4.

Disregard Geist of Saint Traft, acquire 3/4 beatdowns in a format ruled by Lightning Bolt.
In further daggers, the burn player went 4-0.

This is what you get for underestimating the burn player

No one whines when Red Devotion or Zoo takes an event but if Burn or Boogles does it - it becomes pitch forks time

i have fed on every archetype in the standard 1v1's today. i am unstoppable with my purdy new temples and one brimaz. i think i have dropped one match in ten, which was the mirror.
pedros won an 8 man i was in before i fled to the 1v1's to haunt there in my gloom.
i've beat mono black twice, mono blue twice, maze's end, mono black aggro, black green devotion, esper humans, firedancer boros, white aggro and gr monsters
always avoid the 1v1 for a pack if you hear me whining about losing elsewhere, i take it out on my victims there

make that 3 times beating mono blue
fuck you thassa
fuck you blue devotion
fuck you every devotion
i have made it my life's work to stomp out the gathering of same mana symbols
devotion is my sworn enemy and i am cleansing the world of it

and defeated maze's end again
how does it feel to keep losing to a deck with 0 creatures, maze's end
i hate you maze's end
i will never lose to you maze's end and my two sideboarded pithing needles for mono black will always make you just a fly at my window

i must be up 13-1

btw through all of that i earned only a few packs, the value is so pathetic. i technically am in a mini-state of infinite, but good god damn, hours of victories yielded me basically nothing but standard practice and a few packs

I can't recommend 2-Mans, it can warp your view on the meta game (etc.. etc... make you think Aura and Maze End is a deck) which is bad news if your MOCS or PTQ player.
2-Man also happen to be worthless in regards to payouts and QP.

Those Kaze's end players must suck. They have no business losing to UW...pitching needle isn't even that bad since I would side in 4 crackling anyway.
GR is what's killing my Kaze's end fun
