The big players are: B/x, U/W/x, Monsters variants, Mono U, and R/x (including Burn and Boss Sligh decks).

FoS talks about Esper more than anyone else in MTG, no matter how much more popular and successful UW is

There is literally no R/x decks around here, I'm the only one who really plays red decks. The IQ I was at was 62 people, there was no red based aggro, but 22 UWx decks and 18 devotion to black variants.

So we'll now have three different Ajani legal in standard. Hrm. Definitely a straight swap between him and the GW ajani against any of the aggro decks. Unless someone can talk me out of it, I'm really thinking about naya superfriends come rotation. The one question mark is the mana base and a replacement to mortars.

Implied but yes. It seems like they've moved away from using the core sets for dual lands.

They use cards that are less than ten years old.

Pity.

no not implied, because I'm asking why you're committing to a deck before seeing a big new set with all new cards and mechanics to go hog wild over

Woah...There appears to be a site-wide conspiracy to get me to write more.

I'm on to your tricks, gentlemen. ;-)

Actually, you guys are giving me the 'warm and fuzzies.' :frog: :frog: :frog:

I've been brainstorming for the last week and half on what to write about. My work schedule has been hectic and I've been rather indecisive on what exactly I want to say. There' so much that's been done already (and most of it poorly written), and I don't want to rehash or
recycle anything. I really want to do something unique that people will only get from coming here to diestoremoval.com.

I have the rest of today off and tomorrow, so I think I'll be able to get a draft done.

Have cards in other core sets featured other planes? The Soul cycle and the Jace/Nissa walkers all have flavor and theme elements from previous expansions.

On an unrelated note, I've quit smoking and drinking. And everything else toxic, I guess. It's only been about 3 weeks ( I think?), but that's pretty much a milestone for me, being stone cold sober. I've noticed that my mind is working differently. Probably the way it's supposed to. XD
