I love me a sligh deck when its a good time to be playing one, but now really isn't the time.

you're jealous that someone's budg deck has had more success in two weeks than your budg decks have in a lifetime

I don't play budj decks, dolla dolla.

My monsters build has zero commons or uncommons in the main. Even my mystics are rares.

So it's a bad time to play Sligh when the majority of the decks right now are slow midrange builds and Mono Blue has seen a decline in play?

Posted: Tue Jun 24, 2014 6:33 pm
by Khaospawn
So when exactly would be a good time to play Sligh? Next week? Next month? Next year!?

If Zem will perpetually say Monsters isn't a good deck even when Jund lives perpetually on as a top force in the meta, why would you expect Alex to consider red aggro a real deck?

Every Tuesday that isn't cat Tuesday and Wednesdays that aren't ritualistic human sacrifice days
Alternatively Thursdays during lent and every Friday between thanksgiving and Christmas

You pretty much can never play it Saturday Sunday and Monday unless you successfully defeat a grizzly bear in combat bear handed and offers its remains as an offering to the sun god or Buddha

It could just be a poor signal. My office has terrible reception and I'm often on 3G there. Not all of us work at Subway.

I work in a skyscraper that gets no reception

The best is when your in an office building with fine reception, then when you sit to take a break "no service"
Fuck off

Did Madding just casually say that I was not a kool aid drinker? I'm touched. Or something.

Also I don't claim to know anything about kangaroo magic, so I don't expect James to know anything about bald eagle magic.
I only know what sees play here, and its a hostile environment full of monsters decks.

Again, Kird Ape has not officially been confirmed. That is simply art from yesterday's mothership article confirming another Flinthoof Boar-like cycle.
From the mothership article:
Another key invention of Doug Beyer's M13 design team was the cycle of uncommon creatures that powered up off of different land types, most notably Flinthoof Boar. We called them the "Kird Ape" cycle internally, as a nod to the famous Arabian Nights creature they were based on, and for M15 we decided to bring them back, going the other way around the wheel (so the red one powers up off of Forests, etc.). These powerhouses make for great rewards in Limited and reward "
splashing" in very satisfying ways."

I don't know what I said, but in laymans terms, you and Zem and anyone who has criteria for what makes a deck 'a real deck' that goes beyond being legal in its format and doing well on a big stage... is a dumb nerdy cunt

who cares though
it's a real deck for as long as it's around
and if that's not much longer than we can all rejoice

This is also ironic come from the guy playing G/R monsters, a deck which hasn't placed at any event since probably before jou came out.

It hasn't placed because it's not a real deck. It's a figment of people's imaginations.

I got a lot to say to you
Yeah, I got a lot to say
I noticed your eyes are always glued to me
Keeping them here
And it makes no sense at all
They taped over your mouth
Scribbled out the truth with their lies
You little spies
They taped over your mouth
Scribbled out the truth with their lies
