Finally lost the first round of an 8-man but then proceeded to win the next 8-man so all is right with the world.
Oh and I'm now at 16 QP's so I've qualified for a MOCS prelim for the first time!

When I used the beta (during its early stages) trading, deck building and playing was a nightmare. I heard it has improved but I dislike it (esp. the in-game layout)I've run both LP and everything - deck building, trading, chat, joining events is better in Beta. It's clearer and easier/more intuitive to navigate. BUT, while actually playing in Beta isn't bad playing in the current/old version is MUCH better - clearer,
better organised screen etc. I faff about in Beta and play in the original
Agreed, though if you started with the beta and never used the original its probably better to stick with the beta since they do plan on forcing that abomination on us eventually.Don't use beta

I'm leaning towards Tron (easy to build), splinter twin (explosive), pod (best deck in the format?), and UR delver (consistent and has game vs everything)

Looking at the MTGO player of the year race, I see that magicdownunder is tied for 69th(!) place in the constructed standings. That's awesome, dude.

What do you guys think of the modern mill deck that went 4-0 in a daily yesterday?
