Some of the best players make some of the most boneheaded mistakes on camera - it happens.
Just add it to the commentary post production: "Fucked up a little here - should have just killed they guy instead of leaving him with no outs." Keeps trash out of the comments section and looks more respectable when you're the one to point it out.

Wraith:
How was the interview/meeting?

It was good. A lot of people failed the PT, paperwork, and berraitment. I passed the PT with flying colors, but many othrs did not prepare at all. Many applicants were terrified of the polygraph. I was at first, but soon was excited to see the real thing and a million questions. The interviewer was confused at first to see an excited polygarph subject, but soon was aware I had nothing to hide. On the PT, when you finished; you were expected to run the other slow pokes in for support. I did twice making my run 2.3 miles. I was so tired by then. As far as I saw, I was the only applicant with a Masters and they want Masters level applicants bad since many high level employees are retiring. I was told to be back for Medical and Psych exam which means I am high on their list. Thus I am excited to soon be working in my target career field. The Masters degree is a huge bonus as I can punch G12-13 ceilings (federal), get
significantly more pay, and move faster through the ranks.

Sweet, man...I thought I was doing good sitting at G12 with a Doctorate...pulling it down with a Masters rocks.

Sweet, man...I thought I was doing good sitting at G12 with a Doctorate...pulling it down with a Masters rocks.
A Doctorate! Nice. I can't justify the money to go any higher as becomes a pay problem for departments. My parents wanted me to get the Doctorate, but thats another 4 years. Uh, no. Not interested in writing books and working liberal puke universities. If I was loking to be the Medical examiner; then yeah, Doctorate is great. Hell a JD degree (law degree) is more useful to me in my wanted line of work, but I can't seem to pass the LSAT. I hate that test as it does not have anything to do with
studying law. That damn test is designed to keep test makers and book companies in business, not check for good lawyers. The guy I trained with to pass the test could not make a penut butter jelly sandwich, but could answer high level Lsat questions. There is no way that terd could be a decent lawyer. Regardless, I found lawyer work to be indicative of becoming a fat ass (lawyers I interned with in Texas). I interned and visited a few to get a feel for it and discovered I hated it. Working with Law enforcment was more life fullfilling and the sense of danger was a relief (my life is worth while). I don't know what you do, but I think you understand me so far.

If I never had to worry about money I would go for a doctorate in philosophy. Unfortunately that costs a lot of money and has very little potential to ever pay it back. So it must a hobby remain.

I hope everyone is doing well and kicking ass!
If you are looking for a deck to play this weekend, look no further!

Very good in testing vs all the major decks. Under the radar deck.
I know I know, not a single red card in it but it still has Rakdos Cackler!!

Does anyone in the clan use under-sleeves for their decks? (Mostly looking at you Legacy and EDH players.) I'm interested in suggestions for what brand to look for. I went out on a limb and got some foreign KMCs that are not even remotely the right size.

I don't know what brand mine are but I asked my LGS for perfect fit sleeves. The language on the package was definitely foreign. Then I put Dragon Shields over them.

To clarify, I'm a pharmacist (Pharm.D.) rather than a Ph.D., but still an extra 4 years of very expensive school. People coming straight out of high school with the right
grades came sometimes do 7 years total, but it's rare.

I am going to double sleeve my Modern deck in KMC perfects under Dragon Shields.
Also, check out the new sig! Going to modify it to be smaller and rehost image once I get on a computer.

Badass. I bought KMC Minis by mistake then. Difference is only 2mm in width, but Magic cards won't fit at all. The LGS is unfortunately not open when I'm on my lunch break, and the hobby store deals in collectibles as opposed to gaming supplies. Oh well. Now I know!

I'll probably get to a point soon that I'll need to double sleeve my EDH decks. As soon as the fetch lands are in, it'll be time.

I had that moment. I'm looking at my hand going "Marsh Flats, Scrubland, Bitterblossom, Liliana of the Ve- get your fucking Mt. Dew way from me you pig."
Which is the opposite of me a year ago.
