So, an interesting tidbit about past forums drama:
Do you guys remember John Rambo, who went deep undercover as an attempt to expose MTGS alpha leaks through other site's espionage?
Well it turns out that he might have been strongarmed into doing this kind of dirty work by a portion of the higher iridium, rather than taking the iniciative of doing it. Maybe we went too harsh on him, but again, with the partial info we had it seemed reasonable.
Maybe this also explains why he resigned from upper-staff. If that info I got is true, I wouldn't have been comfortable with staying in the higher echelons neither .
Funny that, considering the leak came from high up in the first place, I would not want to work with a fellow Global/
Admin who is not coming foward and saying "yeah it was me"

So, I'm trying to gauge interest here. Is this a fight worth fighting, or are people just burned out and done? Cause I'm still relatively young where it concerns mtgs, and I'm righteously pissed at what could easily be considered peanuts to some of the more tenured individuals I see in here. But, I am the best there is at what I do, so all I really need is info and some names. But, I could be totally wrong and get my ass banned forever too, so....
Keep calm and summit on.

It's the internet, bro.
We're all here to have fun. If you're having fun, then continue doing so. If not, then figure out how to bring your fun back.

We aren't the Internet fight police, we are not the thought police, we are the fun police. You will have fun and you will like it.

Crusading is fun. At least, until it gets hairy, which it sometimes does. I play with some mtgs people, so I could see some of those meets getting....awkward. They shouldn't be, cause you're right, it's only the Internet. We'll see, I guess.
Forget mtgs? But it's so COLORFUL there now! Teia and Votan and Frox and Nai! I'm supposed to leave that alone? Might as well tell the bear to not shít in the woods, or the Penn State Board to not cover for Sandusky. Too soon? Shouldn't be. But I digress. It's just too fun to leave alone at this point.

I guess he was talking about Teia being an ass while he/she/it was ripping the crap out of certain users in the GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR thread.

The rules are different for mods and users. AKA, you'll never win there. Unless your name is Sisyphus, you're probably better off not trying to fight.

The trend with those threads is quite typical, once things get heated and Galspanic starts suspending people because he is insecure about staff not getting the respect that they think their status grants then, they call the white knights cavalry division to the rescue. Case in point mikeyG has now entered the thread, how long till retired MTGS poster jeffbcrandall enters the fray?

I must say.....all this talk of Curse and Sally and buying and selling and mods fucking all this shit up.....ever so entertaining. And enlightening, too.
I hope you didn't read in search of facts, because there aren't a lot to be had ITT.
Shut the fuck up Talore.
Megs specifically called me out for discussing mod issues in grr. So I stopped. I pmed you and er. That was completely blown off. So where am I stopped to go?
The issue I have with teia is not personal. I'm sure you don't believe that, but it's true. My issue is her posting and attitude.
Search grr for her posts that mention any ci warrior, Fahey, harkius, Brandon, belgareth and you'll see. The fact that these are tolerated and defended is shocking. I saw those posts and general negative attitude as detrimental. They spread to other mods and, I believe made much of the drama worse. Her duplicitous posting made me not believe that she was sincere in anything she said in ci.
But I can see that this is not going to change. You believe any criticism is invalid because people don't like her personally. So... Good luck.
Now get back to sucking Teias dick while she crys about people bullying her.

Surely not the same Dan who has chronically lied since joining this site and has tried several times to incite malicious drama.
Surely not.

You should get one of those gay mtgs banners that says my guild is house dimir

...I was actually gonna ask if someone could make me a sweet banner. But if they're gay, I can't have one. Which makes me sad.
Disclaimer: I have nothing against gays. I think they're wonderful people, and if you want to play Marco Polo, all greased up in baby oil and nude with a blistering 80s rock soundtrack in the background, then I say....kudos, sirs. You just go on and do your thing.
