In the main I agree but UB has some real nice anti-control cards that are absurd in drawn out games; so I want to test that. If it's not favourable enough ill just play UW myself.

They think "that guy is a GP champion and very good looking - he should play Spike Spiegel in the live action adaption"

I expect a lot of Mono U and UW and I don't like red in that meta.

I think Ellie Goulding wrote a song about that.

"There is no genius other than one which is expressed in the works of art; the genius of Proust is the sum of Proust's works; the genius of Racine is his series of tragedies. Outside of that, there is nothing. Why say that Racine could have written another tragedy, when he didn't write it? A man is involved in life, leaves his impress on it, and outside of that, there is nothing ... it prompts people to understand that reality alone is what counts, that dreams, expectations and hopes warrant no more than to define a man as a disappointed dream, as miscarried hopes, as vain expectations." - John Paul Sartre

it was against g/w with some hexproof (running maindeck courage armor witchstalker and gladecover along with other normal g/w shit.)

He mulled to 4, kept witchstalker forest plains gladecover,

turns in order
forest gladecover
draw fleecemane, plains fleecemain
draw forest, forest witchstalker
draw unflinching courage, cast on witchstalker
draw unflinching courage, cast on witchstalker

I never stood a chance

Even good songs become bad when you only hear the chorus for 3 hours.

I was just hoping to see our Grim Lavamancer burn some dudes (I still hope you get a feature match). I assumed you'd be playing red since it is more than playable. I would only not play red if there wasn't a viable red deck lol.

If you're set on U/B, maybe this would be helpful?:

He's list is obviously substantially more tuned than mine; mines a bunch of 4-ofs which is rarely correct in control.

I've not heard anyone like Prognostic Sphinx; but ges stuck with it for months now. I need to at least test it.

Fair enough, I think I'm going to immediately freeze to death upon my return to Canada. The part of Japan I've been living in for the last 4 years never really goes below minus 3. I'm moving home end of March / start of April, so I'll probably catch the tail end of winter.

Prognostic Sphinx is sweet. I've been playing him in Walls as a 2-of out of the board against control decks, since generally they'll spend the early game shocking themselves, expecting to never take damage from my deck.
