Just came back from burning everyone's faces off with that deck at another event. I do need some answers to an opposing geist without killing my own stuff too though.

I'm not comfortable with adding scepters. I'll always be looking at them with melacholy, knowing that nothing in this world can compare to redthirst's crank, even scepters loaded with boros charms. But for people who are: http://brainstormbrewery.com/ice-cream- ... -hoogland/

I got a pair of Vertx pants and 5.11 polo for christmas and someone washed/dryed them with a pen in my moms scrubs before checking the pockets. Another 5.11 shirt and pant of mine a was stained with blue ink as well.

The Dryer looks like somone slaughtered a clown and no one wants to use it.

Study the history of the game. All logical expressions of strategy have already been explored. Understand that all that matters is winning; there are no points for style or creativity. Don't idolise pros. Learn to calculate and control your emotions.
and always remember to play bad cards over good ones, not for style points or creativity, but because it worked once at your fnm

Let me know when you want to compare constructed records ;)

Unless your position is really that all red decks are inherently bad.

Good shit James! Congrats! It's quite amazing when you realize someone is your perfect match. I didn't know when I first started dating my wife. Hell, I didn't know when I asked her to marry me. But it's been 15 years and I can't imagine life without her. That's not to say I'm just comfortable. I adore her even more every day. It's good to know someone else out there can find the same happiness.

i am better than you, more accomplished in bigger events, constructed and limited, especially online. i didn't think a comparison was needed for that, most mtg records are public

Mine is just pretty much all DE's and some MOCS, though keep in mind Wizard isn't kind for us folk downunder.

Kait serves a useful role here, keeping Z aware of his self-aggrandizement, me aware of my neckbeard and Kaze aware of his divorce.

I had a similar kinda night, Purp (you were there, so you know ;P)
Lost to mono-b, due to land starvation/not getting a single burn spel in multiple turns, in a match to determine ranking in top8 since we were both set already, then lost real badly to an esper control, cause of land starve and couldn't answer a blood baron.

Speaking of us being at the same thing: (I look derpy as fuck, so please forgive me e.e)

Not being sarcastic here but I'm very impressed with your record, you should post more in the deck discussion sections I would love to read your insights.

I never counted myself as a "pro" but as a "grinder" so I'm happy with my results (its shame that on my public data, it shows all my games back in 2011 when I was still newb (8 pages of 2011 but less then 10 counts of stuff this year)- it would of been more favorable if it contain more stuff just from this past year).

I had some decent results under my Madding account as well but like you that was my starting account which might reflect poorly, I think I got 12th once and 31st once in some 700 man PTQ's under the Madding account
