I've been told I can/should be less aggressive with her friends.
Some people just need to get Kimura'd once in a while. I don't see the issue.

Kiora got spoiled. 2UG. Starts with 2 loyalty. +1, prevent all damage dealt to/by a perm. and opponent controls for a turn. -1, Explore. -5, emblem: you get a 9/9 kraken at the end of each of your turns.

^That's Ham's battle cry, by the way.
Does he give his viewers +1/+0 when he attacks?
The viewers get +1/+0, but his cohosts get -1/-1 and can't cast spells.
This seems eerily accurate. Strange things happen on stream. One must abandon all sense of reason, justice and belief in the corrective power of variance when viewing one of my dailies.

Study the history of the game. All logical expressions of strategy have already been explored. Understand that all that matters is winning; there are no points for style or creativity. Don't idolise pros. Learn to calculate and control your emotions.

re Pip photo: My God, James...those eyes...I imagine you get utterly lost and at the same time find yourself in them. And if she looks at you that way, that's what we all live for...not to be idolized or mooned over, but that soul gaze that pulls the universe into alignment and gives utter clarity about what really matters.

Congratulations to both of you for deciding to take things up a notch; my best to you, good sir.

Most aggro and midrange decks simply can't beat a turn 2-3 Charm on a stick.

Mine was even funnier...

My lady's parents had told her to invite me out for pizza with the family (20 or so of them). Mom introduces herself and is the soul of hospitality, making my kids immediately feel like they belonged...and then she handed me a beer and apologized that it was "only" Bud Light since she had heard that I liked craft brews.

Dad makes his way down the table...big smile hand shake, glad to meet you, then a serious look:

Dad: Do you hunt?
Me: Nope...I love venison and deer sausage, but no.

Dad's face immediately fell and he huffed a sigh, then smiled again and made his way back down the table.

I went back to my chair and relayed the exchange to my lady, who proceeded to bust up laughing in and shaking her head in exasperation. She explained that her dad loves to hunt and was hoping that he was getting another potential woods buddy out of the deal to soften his wife up on how
often he could go. ;-)

My U/R Delver/YP$ counter/burn/tempo deck. I've been playing with it for about a month. I just haven't posted a list yet because it changes a lot. I've been trying everything I can to make it work. It's good, but not great. I think Sasky may be on to something by adding White, but that manabase is pretty painful. One of the things o learned was to add more basics, less shocks.
