They are legendary rarity cards. You get cards in booster packs like in other card games but you can also "melt down" your cards and use the rarity-coded value the game gives you to "buy" other cards. There's no way to buy cards with cash and players can't trade or sell singles.
Leeroy Jenkins is a 6/2 haste (that summons 2 1/1s for your opponent) in a game w/o instants or blocking.

Leeroy is so good that some control decks play it.

One of the best cards in the burn "color" is a 4 mana spell that deals 6, and Leeroy is basically a colorless version of that.

I don't like Theros and I don't have to spend money to play hearthstone and I can play it on my iPad now so I can go anywhere with wifi and play it.

Yea, basically, but that's in journey into nyx. Since the set isn't out yet, it's hard to say if it's good or not. Born of the gods had a lot of cards I enjoy, but overall it was a poor set. Theros, on the other hand, introduced devotion, bestow, and heroic, which are all creative and useful additions to the game. I also found the limited environment to be entertaining.

They printed a new city of brass that doesn't create a trigger. But is essentially the same.

I still enjoyed reading the r/spike reddit and half the comments being "oh yeah, storm totes bumps out city of brass"

I enjoyed that because anyone who plays legacy realizes that the people who play storm aren't going to downgrade their Arabian nights city of brass into mana confluence
