For I'm relatively resigned when it comes to gain and loss.I beseech thee to gaze upon the heavens and observe.Become immersed in geological phenomenon, fail to escape from philosophical truth.
I am a peasant, I require no external validation of my feelings.
Somewhat euphoric, somewhat melancholic.

Devotion's not a bad mechanic, especially compared to chroma. I do think it might have pushed a little too hard, as in it seems like they planned on people not building around it super hard and then every one did since it is way easy to build around. On the bright side it makes monocolor decks a thing which, other than RDW, isn't doable competitively all that often. Depending on what happens in botg the solution might be right around the corner. Besides I won't hear of any one saying anything bad about fanatic of mogis even if it is in a very round about way.Devotion is a pretty shitty mechanic yeah.

thanks to nbw for the sig.

I liked last standard more then this standard. Granted, I like this standard as well, but I really appreciated decks like Jund and UWR flash.
This standard has slowly grown less interesting as time goes on. U devotion has grown on me though after playing Jonny Spike with it the other night. Thassa an Cyclonic rift are good magic cards.

You gotta understand, I love the beatdown. I really do. I always have.
Beatdown is hard, though.

I don't know. I'd rather stare down at anything but a green 5/3 and its girlfriend.
And yes, it's great that we no longer have to worry about 3/4 coming down at us at 4. There's Advent of the Wurm, but you cannot really splash that one.

Because any other colors other than red requires some strategies, and therefore not mindless. Yes, that includes what creatures/manadorks to play out in green. The thing is, I've had a few of my friends say they love playing mono blue. I just don't understand it. This is coming from players who said they would never play mono red because it is mindless.

So, just saw a rdw using wild ricochet...
The game I saw he actually used it vs a maze's end deck, to stop riot control.
First question is if that actually works since riot control doesn't say target e.e
Second question is if that's a legitimate sideboard card. It would make control even easier, though it would lack the usefulness against mono-black, which is a big part of why skullcracks good...

Bill Hicks is the man.
People say to me, "Oh, Bill, leave them alone. They're so good, and so clean-cut, and they're such a good image for the children." Fuck that! When did mediocrity and banality become a good image for your children? I want my children listening to people who fucking ROCKED! I don't care if they died in pools of their own vomit! I want someone who plays from his fucking heart! "Mommy, the man Bill told me to listen to has a blood bubble on his nose." SHUT UP AND LISTEN TO HIM PLAY!
Fuck that! I want my rockstars dead! I want 'em to fucking play with one hand and put a gun in their other fucking hand and go, "I hope you enjoyed the show. Bang!" Yes! Yes! Play from your fucking heart!...

A 3/4 flier with haste (which you sometimes played it as) wasn't that insane at 3W considering the power creep on creatures is super steep lately. The last time a flash flying creature was that good was Vendillion Clique, and even that is sometimes a total dud.3/4 flash flier for 3W is not inherently fair, before we consider the blink
The blink was also mediocre sometimes. You could play the card fairly and simply have it be a guy+combat trick, which isn't that oppressive until you introduce ways to go over the top with the blink.

Since it does have a target, you cannot change target for the spell. You can, however, copy an instance of that spell for yourself.
The problem with [card:r7c87vsz]Wild Ricochet[/card:r7c87vsz] is that the cards it can hit is too narrow to justify the cost.

I just got 2 tablets from verizon for free (one for me and one for my hag since we share a phone plan).
I had renewed my contract for two years, but I had done that 2 months ago, so I am only in for 2 extra months.

Oh yeah, bill hicks is fucking awesome.
You never hear about the good consequences of drugs on the news. Just once I want to hear a news story that goes " Today a young man on acid realized that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves. Heres Tom with the Weather."

So, currently 3-0 at fnm. First round was a g/b gorgons/hydras weirdness that i 2-0'd, second was a w/u white weenie that had gotten to winners bracket cause of a bye (2-0), and then third was a rdw build that I managed to get 2-1.
It got me game 2 by a few life, but still fairly happy overall.

So when men proposes to a woman he gives her a diamond, if the woman proposes to the man does she have to get him a dog?

Alright, fifth and final round is done. Last 0-2 to a mono-u devotion.
Puts me at 4-1, and I was the only 4-0 going into round 5, so its all on the breakers now.
But I made a few play mistakes that I think hurt me more then I thought they would, but overall, I was close to stabilizing both games when he got me. It was by just a few turns ;-;
It didn't help that game 2 he played 3 masters and I never saw a single chained or last breath. Did manage to overload mortars twice, which helped delay it e.e
Was brutal e.e
