No true Californian really cares when an earthquake hits. It's always a "oh, another one" reaction. They last less than a minute so I rather deal with quakes than with hurricanes. I don't understand how people on the East Coast actually say they prefer hurricanes over earthquakes. When it's a free massage.
We're always on fire though. There's something always burning. I still remember it was so bad one time ten years ago that all of LA was covered in a sky of smoke and it rained ash for days.
Edit:
500 Page 1st Post

Because unless you live in an area that's susceptible to flooding or built poorly (see levies in New Orleans), you can hunker down and get through a hurricane with minimal damage or injury. Whenever I think of an earthquake I think of the 198*
(88? 89?) World Series and that bridge collapsing with cars on it. You KNOW a hurricane is coming and you can prepare or decide not to prepare. An earthquake or a tornado just hits outta nowhere (from what I know).

Don't put your deck in the [Fires of Salvation]
Postby zemanjaski » Wed Mar 27, 2013 9:37 pm • [Post 1]
Welcome to our new home gentlemen.
On a personal note, I would like to thank everyone for their care and support during the transition, and the fervour with which everyone has stood up for our brothers. Please do express gratitude to the stuff and members here who have not only taken us in, but given us a nice new place to hang out and be ourselves.
Those of you with access to MTGS, please notify the rest of the clan of the new home, either in the clan thread or through PMing those on your friend list.
Finally, I don't have posting or editing rights at the moment, so if anyone wants to start migrating my articles across for use on this fine
site (post them in the Standard forum), please by all means do so. I will be removing all over my user content from MTGS ASAP (might be a few weeks though I guess).
Thank you again to the MTGC Staff and Community.
In the spirit of the normal clan thread ~ I was pretty pissed off this morning, with all of this chaos going on. What do I find when I open my messages this morning? Sent to me at 4am, all the way from China, some pictures of Wolf-Girls business trip. Got to see some different sites, the hotel, some food etc. Also got a series of pictures of the shower, including demonstrations of how it works. So there, now I know.
Sometimes things are alright
Edit. Would you believe I meant to write "dick" instead of "deck" in the thread title, but I was thinking of UB Tempo brews

Earthquakes are unpredictable, but 95% you don't feel them while 4% of the time it's a small shake that makes you stop and notice for a second before you continue on with what you're doing because it's nothing. The best time for them to hit is when you're with someone out of town. There were some British guys near me when one hit. The freaked the fuck out and ducked under the table while everyone else at the restaurant continued eating and chatting.

No, but really. I quit today.
Never have I felt so liberated!

Either Macy's or Target or a factory job making ambulances. Or possibly a paid slot at a church's worship team.
So many choices.

Sounds like you could do one of the above + church worship team and make bank.

All of the above sound better than mall small retail, Kaze...hours should be good at a big store for the holidays if you can land one of the more long-term jobs as a primary.

Target pays shits of money to those who work holidays. Fyi.

I'm likely to cashier at Target whilst doing the church deal. $50 bucks per service to play drums? A thing I do hours a day for free? So up for that.

So James, with so much dependence on black removal at present and the lack of GY control, do you think
Consuming Aberration could be viable as a wincon in a BU shell? Or is the meta too fast with too many chump options?
I had to get at least one more cheezy idea in before we flip the marker...

"That's right, shithead! I'm gonna have another drink! And the reason I'm gonna have another drink is because the dogs are still barking in my head! Got it? I pay a psychiatrist a lot of money to stop the dogs from barking, but that shit doesn't work. It doesn't work!"

Congratulations, members of the Fires of Salvation, for transforming from a little club thread into a growing center of knowledge in the MtG world.
And all hail Redthirst's flailing member, which doth smite all the weak posers that try to boast dominance over MOUNTAINS.
