2 McRibs, large fries, and a large sweet tea.

I'm pretty sure that's like 1500 calories with 0 nutritional value.
You fat bastard :')

I just posted up a thread in the market street thing. I've got a friend who wants me to unload a card for him, and I wanted to put it here before sally, cause I like you guys.

And I know the market street isn't really for that purpose, but meh ;P

Personal rant - but this day is a good day to live. At least for me.
I fucking knew suicide was pretty damn bad idea!

Long time ago I've mentioned here Andrzej Sapkowski and his Witcher. This series is basically what Lord of the Rings is for the rest of world. Fantasy books so good that they warped the whole genre around themselves. And yeah, people who dig the vidya games can know the game 'Witcher' as it was actually available in english (and pretty popular cRPG).
So after 16 fucking years he's releasing a new Witcher book. He wrote some other, amazing books but now serious shit is back. Seen the preview and really, i'm wiping off tears with my cum.

It's just such a good day to live for fuck's sake!

I've always been sorta interested in reading the witcher books.
Played both The Witcher, and The Witcher 2, which ere amazing games, and am awaiting The Witcher 3... Only issue us that the games don't follow the books at all, iirc... The take place at a totally different point in time from the books' setting

I know nobody will believe me, but i was never really bad at magic. I was fortunately an avid game designer in high school, so i grasped the basics pretty easily.
Most people with a background in any other competitive game grasp magic very easily, the skill ceiling in the game is very low.
I wouldn't argue with you about it having a low ceiling, but I think that's a good thing in a card game. Skill ceiling being high is good in digital games, but if I wanted to play chess, that game already exists.

EX: I like both League of Legends and Magic: The Gathering, but
I like them for different reasons. One requires deductive reasoning, the other requires reflexes and timing. They're different skill sets.

I was good at Magic because I was already used to exercising basic reasoning in such a way that it produced in-game results. That's really all Magic is; manipulating the game to your favor through small decisions. You do that a lot when DESIGNING a game, but from the other side of the glass, because you want to set up walls that your player has to maneuver around to win. It's part of the reason that limited has always been so intuitive for me.

If you'd like to taste a lil' bit of it - from what I know, "Last Wish" was translated into english. These are just few short-novels, but could probably give you a bit better grasp onto whole setting. Also, some quotes (I posted them on Sally back in the days): http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showpost ... count=4827

I find that I can quickly approach an above-average level in any given game, but I don't grasp the very fine subtleties of playing in a shifting metagame on my own. I do well when I can talk about the game as it evolves with other intelligent people.

Folding, I suppose. Spring assist would be nice.

There are tons of different kinds of knives.

Personally, I prefer a small Leatherman, but I also carry a knife. I use a http://www.crkt.com/Lake-111-Z-Razor-Sh ... -model-LBS

As awkward as they are, the prepper/survivalist videos on YouTube have some good recommendations for cheap tools like knives, guns, rope, etc.

I really like Kershaw flipper pocket knives. Nice little spring assist. You should be able to find models on ebay with a 2.75 to 3.25 inch blade for less than $40.

Been using this one for a few years without issue:

Really great quality for the price. I imagine any of the Camillus Titanium stuff will be equally high quality.

I need some lavamancers customed up as Trafalgar law. Or maybe I should just wear the hat to the GP. Or the wolf hat.

Clan voting time - which headpiece when I win the GP?
So, everybody keeps saying the wolf hat... I'm new so I gotta ask, whats the wolf hat?
A picture is worth a bazillion words in this case, Raida...give me a bit to get to my laptop and I'll show you of what we speak.

I've been happy with both Kershaw and Gerber for years now; great quality, very reasonable prices. I've on occasion given them away and even once left one at an airport security checkpoint after my dumb ass forgot to pack it in my checked bag and not shed a tear because they are cheap enough to not worry over. I used to prefer Kershaw spring-assist, but anymore I like the Gerber non-assists with thumb knob on the blade because you never get surprise slips in your pants pocket (cannot belt holster a knife at work but have to have one for boxes, packing straps, etc.).

If you don't mind, James, I'll just post the Pip pick and save you the loss...that image of her still blows my mind.

@ Raida - This is the image that zeman posted on the night he met Pip; she snagged this wolf cap from him and snapped this pic of herself. When James posted it, we all were pretty much just knocked back on our heels with the raw beauty of the image. Hence, "Wolf Girl" became a legend within the FoS:
