It was a mono white, so I was anticipating for some Fiendslayer Paladin to show up. The hammer also compliments by giving all my non-haste creatures the boost they need (Sided in Reckoners too).Nice burn, brah.
Why did you play your Hammer on turn 3? You weren't at a point where you want to be sacrificing lands yet, and you hadn't seen Chandra. Making a dude and then drawing her on 3 land would be the feel-bad moment of the match.
Besides, nothing is more assuring than the option to say "End of your turn, 3/3 Golem."

OK. Honestly that blue deck looks horrible. I guess it is just a meta call, but playing UB or UW has got to be better.

If you're playing at the pro tour, the goal isn't to play a "good deck" in a traditional sense, but to spike the tournament with something you think is going to beat the field.
Patrick Chapin has written many times that it's much better to gamble on hitting the home run, even if you misread the field and end up striking out.

Okay Redbros, I need help finding the right Red Variant deck for next week. There's a big event for foil cards and I can't decide which version to take when the scene is going to look like mostly Esper and a lot of Green variant decks (RG Ramp, Junk Midrange, and Mono Green) with practically nothing else.
There's just so much to choose from. It's like I'm a kid in a candy store but not sure which candy will give me a sugar high the fastest.

Remember that time when Zman played WRR in standard? Yeah, it's kinda like that.OK the CFB ramp deck is gorgeous.
Deck is powerful as fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck from all I know of it. Can't wait to see the list.

A) I think skullcrack allows you to kill master of waves with the 'Damage can't be prevented clause". You shouldn't side in skullcrack for this niche application, but I find it funny.
B) Switched decks with my buddy at FNM tonight(piloted Esper) and we got 3/4th. If I had won round 3, we could have split 1st/2nd but I'm a scrub that can't beat mainboard sin collectors into whips into thoughtseize.
Overall, fun night.

Brief FNM report I managed to do on my phone right after. Went 1-3. Report is here: viewtopic.php?p=123102#p123102
Just looking for overall feedback and critique of my sideboard decisions. Pretty sure I might have screwed up a bit somewhere.
